Smooth Vintage Tone With Modern Studio High-fidelity Specs
The Groove Tubes GT67 is a no-compromise tube mic delivering better performance and sound than some of the most prestigious mics costing much more. The GT67 is perhaps Groove Tubes' most versatile large capsule tube mic with its ultra-thin 3 micron Gold evaporated Mylar diaphragm is uniquely hand built with Groove Tubes' exclusive Disk Resonator that naturally extends high frequencies to improve detail and depth, making it the perfect choice for both vocal and instrument recordings. The 4 polar patterns of the GT67 give the recording engineer complete flexibility for all applications...and the Groove Tubes legendary low noise GT6205M tube in a Class A triode circuit design provides warmth with detail, adding new dimension to vocal and instrument recording. For owners of serious project studios and owners of professional studios looking for a good, resonably priced tube condenser, the GT67 will not dissappoint
Groove Tubes GT67 At-a-Glance:
- Exclusive Disk Resonator Technology
- Versatile Mic with Multiple Patterns
- Exceptional Quality
Exclusive Disk Resonator Technology
The GT67 is a side-address true condenser that features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 1.10-inch diameter capsule. The incredibly thin 3-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm with Disk Resonator technology provides incredible sensitivity that delivers a sparkling, transparent sound across the full frequency spectrum.
Versatile Mic with Multiple Patterns
Groove Tubes' clean, fat-sounding tube technology combine with an all-brass capsule to produce a smooth bottom and vintage tone that's perfect for capturing and enhancing great vocals. Use this mic to smooth a thin or brassy female vocal or impart a big "chesty" tone to any voice. The GT67 is also great for acoustic guitar, piano, drums, percussion, and literally just about anything else-including recording stereo performances when paired. The GT67 also offers omni, supercardioid and figure 8 patterns in addition to the standard cardioid. Unlike other large condenser mics, the GT67's extended frequency response is ideal for accurately capturing the realism of just about any sound source.
Exceptional Quality and Value
Groove Tubes' rigorous quality control also insures that the GT67 mic is within +/-1dB of the "golden" microphone spec. The proprietary design even allows you to purchase a single mic exhibiting four distinct patterns, saving you the expense of buying multiple microphones. Includes switches for -10dB attenuation pad and low frequency roll-off filter (75Hz).

"The GT67 is one of my favorite tube mics in this price range. I own this mic personally and have used it for years. It does wonders for warming up male vocals. The switchable patterns are very handy. It is a relatively hot-output mic, so you can get a lot of volume out of it. And of course, it has that signature Groove Tubes sound at a very affordable price. "
