Multi-pattern version of the popular GT50!

The Groove Tubes GT57 incorporates all of the features of Groove Tubes' high-end multipattern GT67, with FET circuitry replacing the tube for a great all-around large diaphragm microphone at a modest price. This side-address true condenser features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 1.10-inch diameter capsule with an amazingly thin 3-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm with Disk Resonator technology providing incredible sensitivity and a sparkling, transparent sound across the full frequency spectrum. Groove Tubes' clean Class A FET electronics combines with an all-brass capsule to produce a smooth bottom and full tone, perfect for capturing and enhancing great vocals. Use this mic to smooth a thin or brassy female vocal or impart a big "chesty" tone to any voice. The GT57 is also great for acoustic guitar, piano, drums, percussion, and just about anything else -including recording stereo performances when paired. Even guitar cabinets present little challenge for this rugged multi-task performer!

Omni and figure 8 patterns are also available in addition to the standard cardioid. Groove Tubes' rigorous quality control also insures that your mic is within +/-1dB of the "golden" microphone spec. The GT57 includes switches for -10dB attenuation pad and low frequency roll-off filter (75Hz).

Since the GT57 is so warm and uncolored, it is great for any number of sources. Acoustic guitars and vocals shine through the GT57, as do guitar cabinets and drums.
