Thanks to its dual-drive configuration and versatile bridging chip, your Glyph GT 062E gives you a variety of useful configuration options. First, your can setup your Glyph GT 062E in spanning mode, which makes both hard drives appear as a single large volume. RAID 1 configuration (also known as mirroring mode) provides you with an extra measure of security by writing simultaneously to both drives. That way, should one of the GT 062E's drives fail, all of your information is still available on the remaining hard drive. Finally, there's RAID 0 mode, which distributes the I/O burden by reading and writing data from both drives at the same time.
