You can operate the GT 062E series units in Spanning mode, which makes the drives appear as one large volume; in RAID 1 (mirroring) mode, which ensures the safety of your valuable data by writing the same data to both drives at the same time; or in RAID 0 mode, which distributes the I/O burden by reading and writing data from both drives at the same time. The Oxford 936DSE chip gives these drives the speed to manage the demands of software such as Final Cut Pro. The GT 062E series units sport practical, versatile connection options; the back panels feature two FW800 FireWire ports: one USB 2.0 port, and one eSATA port. These units also boast quiet fans and durable metal enclosures, for reliable and quiet use. Need to go mobile? It's no problem, as the GT 062E sports an auto-switching power supply for use anywhere in the world.
