ISP Technologies Decimator G String Noise Reduction Pedal at a Glance:
Flexible signal routing
The Decimator G String has two channels of noise reduction. Hook only your guitar up to Channel 1. This takes care of any buzz and noise coming from your guitar. Channel 2 can be placed at the end of your pedalboard or in an effects loop. All hiss and noise from your preamp and pedals is then taken care of giving you the cleanest signal possible. This dual-channel setup kills noise at the source, not letting it slip down the signal chain at all. Kill all noise with the ISP Technologies Decimator G string pedal!
With many noise reduction pedals, when you switch from a clean to a high-gain channel you have to tweak it to work with the new channel. Not so with the Decimator G String. You'll never need to change settings due to the threshold being set too high. The Decimator is simply transparent. It won't mess with your tone or volume.
Rack-quality noise reduction
ISP Technologies has taken technology from their Decimator ProRack G rackmount unit and shoehorned it into a compact stompbox. The same Time Vectoring processing is used to give the Decimator G String its amazing noise reducing capabilities. If you want the ultimate in noise reduction for your rig, then you want the ISP Technologies Decimator G String pedal.

Buy This Pedal
by Paul Harris from Green Bay, WIIf you are reading this review, you probably know this thing is the best at killing noise from your rig. I'm writing this review not only to say this is an amazing noise gate but to praise ISP Techno... read more [+]logies for their customer service. I called ISP asking for tech support to help me integrate this into my rig.Within two minutes they had me with a rep who asked about all my pedals and amp head. This pedal cuts noise before and after the pre amp (in the effects loop), tracks the guitar signal, and requires 4 cables to integrate. This can be confusing as the noise reduction must come before your time based effects (chorus delay) but after other effects. ISP went through pedal by pedal, and also with setting on the back of my amp to integrate this thing in. My entire signal chain was custom reccomended by this guy and it works great. Props to them, best service from a music company ever. Like I said , buy this pedal, it's pricey buy you get what you pay for.
