Perfect Stand for Electric and Acoustic Guitars!Keep your electric or acoustic guitar as safe as possible when you're not holding it! You want to take care of your investment. So when it's time to take the stage or keep your favorite guitar at hand in the studio, you need a stable, reliable stand. Ultimate Support's GS-200 stand holds your guitar by the headstock, and cradle arms support the lower body. Safe, non-abrasive contact surfaces protect your precious axe's finish. You'll appreciate this stand's adjustable height, which lets you store everything from electric and acoustic guitars to basses to banjos. And it folds to a very compact, easy-to-transport unit!
It's the little details that add up to quality. Take, for instance, the GS-200's patented Leg Locking System. You can easily lock the legs in place when you set the stand up, then unlock them when it's time to tear down. No more worries when you pick up this stand to move it to another place! Case-quality material keeps your guitar's finish safe when it's hanging on the GS-200 stand. A safety strap keeps your guitar from falling out. And how about a handy slot that keeps your guitar picks handy? It's built-in. Don't compromise; protect your guitar and give yourself peace of mind!

Ultimate Suppotr GS-200 Guitar Stand
by Jim Solberg from Ashland, WIThis is a good quality stand, I like the locking mechanism and folding design. I rate it only three stars because I had to make a couple of modifications so it would work for me.

The guitar sat a little too vertical for my liking and made me feel like it could fall forward. I cut a half inch off the back leg which helped. close [-]
All was Well, Then...
by M Mahre from Bethesda, MDHad this stand for about 3 months - never gigged with it or subjected it to undue weight (heaviest guitar was a Rickenbacker 360/6). Recently, when removing my D-18 from the stand, the rear leg colla... read more [+]psed, this, in spite of the locking dial being engaged. The rear leg just flat refuses to lock out, so the stand is useless. At this point, I'm not certain I would trust a repair (unless it involved several feet of duct tape). Too bad, too, seeing how the GS-200 is otherwise nicely appointed, compact, and nitrocellulose finish-friendly. I will give Ultimate Support another shot, but not the GS-200 - will try the much simpler and robust AXCEL series next time around. close [-]
