Music Background:  20 years on guitar

This unit can breathe new life into your playing. The tone editing capabilities are amazing, and resources online are great through Digitech and various other user sources. Creating patches and collecting others' patches and amp models is a good time in itself. Playing them can be pure pleasure. Check out those groups to compare with the Boss unit, Tonelab SE and Line 6. I thought the GNX 3000 had the most going for it of all these alternatives. Live sounds and recorded sounds are both inspiring. Usability is good in all situations. My McCarty never had it so good. Trouble is, I am gonna have to stop tweaking so much and get back to skills. Having infinite tweakage can be a real sidetrack. Infinite Tweakage...a good band name...
