A proprietary body shape developed by Takamine, the NEX body style is essentially a scaled-down jumbo. Extremely comfortable to play (especially for smaller players) the NEX body style brings a silky balance to a guitar's tone that lends itself especially well to vocal accompaniment. The NEX body style, while small, will provide you with full-sized sound whether you're onstage or unplugged.
TP-E preamp delivers excellent amplified performanceFeaturing a simple, easy-to-use control layout, the TP-E preamp allows you to quickly dial in a great sound. Nonetheless, by utilizing a gain control, master tone control, and mid-cut switch, you'll find that the TP-E still provides you with plenty of sonic control. The gain knob controls your overall volume. The tone knob controls your overall tone, while the mid-cut switch lets you attenuate some of your guitar's mid frequencies for that "scooped-mid" sound. The TP-E also includes a built-in tuner!
