an excellent case for the DR-40 & accessories

perfect case for the DR-40 portable recorder, power supply, earphones, extra SDHC cards & a few cables & extra batteries. The case is robust enough to protect the recorder when traveling in the field & small enough to fit in luggage. It is very well made. --Large earphones may be a bit of a tight fit, but most are not a problem.

Big enough to be a purse

I purchased this case to house my DR-40 but it is much larger than I expected, about the size of a purse. The center pocket is oversized and the quality is less than I'd expect from Gator who uses a leatherete material to hold the SD cards which will not last. I found a case from a missing Crown PZM that works better and is much more compact.
