Paulbizfrom Northern VA October 17, 2012Music Background: Gigging Musician A Decent AlternativeI needed a sturdier way to carry my Les Paul Studio other than the gig bag it came with so I thought I'd give this rigid bag a try. For the most part it delivers as promised. I didnt like the shoulder straps so I took them off and just carry the bag by its handle. The bag has plenty of room for extras (cable, strap, etc.) and most importantly it gives reasonable protection. I dont like that when the case is open the lid doesnt stay open and constantly wants to fall back to the closed position...but its not really a big deal and bending the lid back on its hinges seems to help some. I gig a lot so I may just break down and get a hard case for the gtr as Im always a little nervous to just "throw" the guitar in the back of the van like we do with our hard cased guitars. Still, this is much better than a regular gigbag and the guitar fits perfectly in the case.
