Painful install, but worth it.

First, the good. It is a great rendition of a extremely complete pipe organ, like something you might find at the national cathedral or the west point chapel. It's got most of the stops you know and love. (It's conspicuously missing the fractional stops, probably because they'd confuse the hell out of non-organists and organists can figure out how to jury rig a midi pitch shift to get the same effect). A few of the pipes have a little noise in them like maybe there was a bit of a cipher or someone walking around or something, but 99% of them are super-musical and very usable.

Now, the bad. The installer does not come with the latest version of the Aria player (sample playback utility needed to play the instrument files) and the version it does come with does not register in protools at all. So you must download the latest Aria after installing. No big deal. Aria's user interface is also not what I was hoping for - I'll be honest, I was hoping for a bunch of stop switches I could flip up or down, something that looked like a organ console. I also was unable to license the pipe organ samples until I re-ran the installer with my OSX security for installations turned off - I think it is calling a sub-installer that just silently fails.
