Its sleek design yields a strong treble zing across the tonal spectrum and sharpens the definition of individual notes. The Grand Auditorium is a strong fingerpicking guitar that also adapts well to medium strumming. With the natural sparkle produced by the Grand Auditorium body style combined with select tonewoods, these newest Taylors have a sound all their own. Music Background: Worship music, blues, fingerstyle

I have auditioned many high-end guitars (Collings, Santa Cruz, etc.) and owned a few Taylor guitars (410, 414ce -ovankol, 414ce LTD rosewood. I currently own a Martin OM-21 and I now own a GA5 which i... read more [+]s really in a different league from the other Taylors. The bass is more pronounced which is not typical of Taylor's and I really like it. The guitar sounds like a grand piano, excellent for both fingerstyle and strumming. A very open, delicate but commanding sound. My wife, who is no guitar player actually made comments about the sound and how beautiful it was. I am very, very happy with this guitar.
