The playability is great right out of the box thanks to Sweetwater's inspection / setup and no adjustments were needed.December 31, 2012 Music Background: semi-pro musician This guitar has that true Gretsch tone and the blacktop Filtertron pickups sound top notch, clean when played lightly and they have that 'grind' when pushed -- nice !! The only issue with this guitar is that it is not well shielded from 60 cycle hum, but I will get out the copper foil and do this myself. All in all this guitar is sweet !
