Gretsch G5415 Special Jet

I have had this guitar for a month. The Gretsch "made in China" Electromatics are very well done. I gave it five stars, NOT because it is on par with high end products (obviously), but because it is so damn fine for the amazing price!! And this does not just mean I consider it like others at the same price point... The finish is beautiful, I find no flaws anywhere. Came with good strings, good action, and it stays in tune! The neck is wonderful... I did a lot of research and there is a lot of agreement about these necks. Really plays well... mine is black, and the "black on black" look with the chrome pickups/bridge etc. is very sharp looking. Tuners are decent, and work well. You can always upgrade the pickups to TV Jones or the like, but these Gretsch Humbuckers are really quite fine....(I play clean, I understand there is a limit to how far you can push them.) Really happy with the tone through my VOX practice amp. Really good sustain. Again, what an amazing instrument for the money! Highly recommend this guitar.
