Fender's Frontman 25R is an excellent small-format combination amplifier with more oomph than most low-wattage solid state models. Pushing 25 watts through a single 10" FENDER® Special Design Speaker, the Frontman 25R packs a solid punch that's great for solo practice and killer in the studio. Its 3-band EQ lets you tweak its tone to fit your ax, while dual selectable channels let you go from a clean sound and a massive overdrive. You can even plug in a CD or MP3 player in the Frontman 25R and jam along.

Can't get over the bang for the bucks...swapped out the stock speaker with a Rajin Cajin Eminence 10" speaker and got blown out of the room. This is a great practice amp, especially for the money. I g... read more [+]ot the red version, and it spoils me for regular black. No need for more power, as I can't play it over volume 4 setting anyway, at least in practice. The Gain is lethal. Highly recommend changing out the speaker...I put it in a separate box and...wow! close [-]
