I was thrilled to hear that they were coming out with an updated version.March 4, 2013 Music Background: Hobbyist First off, with the modulation switched off you are getting the Faux Analog Echo, which is great in and of itself. With the modulation switched on, this pedal gives you control over the tape modulation. You can adjust this so its more subtle than the original, or complete all out warble, broken tape player wackiness! The shade knob allows you to dial back the intensity of the echo.
