The MOTU FastLane USB MIDI interface can handle 32 channels of simultaneous playback. This will support your music production system with two MIDI OUT ports (32 channels) and two MIDI IN ports (32 channels). This gives you the flexibility to connect two independent MIDI controllers at one time.

USB connectivity for convenience
With a USB connection, you can connect and disconnect the USB cable while the power to the computer is on. The FastLane USB operates on USB bus power and does not require a power adapter or batteries. The indicator lights show if the FastLane USB is connected properly to your USB jack and there are also lights to indicate when it is receiving MIDI I/O. This is very handy to verify operation.
