The PYRO1394a ExpressCard (API-650) from ADS Tech provides users of ExpressCard-equipped Windows computers with a pair of FireWire 400 ports for connection of digital FireWire devices such as DV camcorders, FireWire hard drives, digital cameras, scanners, CD-RW/DVD drives, and other audio/video devices. Compliant with IEEE 1394 OHCI 1.1 standards, the PYRO1394a ExpressCard supports data transfer speeds up to 400Mbps, hot-swapping, and asynchronous and isochronous data transfer modes. If you're using a Windows-based laptop computer, the PYRO1394a ExpressCard lets you connect the latest in digital peripherals.
