All this superb sound is pumped through the FP-4F's built-in stereo speaker system, so you can play it anywhere - without extra cables or amplification.

When it comes to playing feel, SuperNATURAL delivers the real deal: coherent touch-driven tone variation, silky non-looped tone decay, and extreme expressiveness in each individual key. Endowed with Roland's acclaimed Progressive Hammer Action with Escapement, the FP-4F's Ivory Feel-G keyboard has the look and feel of keyboards found on Roland's high-end pianos.

The FP-4F's got some innovative features under the bonnet. Session Partner provides rhythm and accompaniment patterns created by pro musicians, letting you play along with your own virtual backing band! Let the FP-4F play chord changes and improvs - or add accompaniment to a sing-along piece during live performance. Explore the wide range of onboard rhythm patterns and "musical metronomes" for improving your timing.

The FP-4F's USB flash memory slot lets you effortlessly store your performances and settings. Add backing tracks to a live performance or play along with pre-recorded songs by downloading SMF and WAV files from your computer and playing them via USB memory key, or by connecting the optional CD-01A USB CD drive to layer your keyboard performance over your favorite audio CDs. For play-alongs, engage the Center Cancel feature to diminish pre-recorded vocals or lead instruments. or use Tempo Change to speed up or slow down a track without changing the pitch. The FP-4F's onboard speakers may be compact in size, but they deliver a dynamic, lush soundscape that's just right for intimate performances. At home and in smaller venues, simply plug in and play without having to lug along a separate amp or set up a PA system.

The FP-4F blends elegantly into any environment and requires minimal floor space. With its svelte chassis and manageable 36 pounds, the FP-4F is convenient to transport, and it's available in a chic white or classic black finish. Whether onstage or at home, the FP-4F's high-visibility LCD gives you a clear view of what's going on.
