FL Studio is by far the best music-making program available to the market. I've used several other programs, researched others... Nothing else works like FL does. It's interface is very user-friendly, and the basics are simple to grasp, which is why a lot of "cheap" beats and tracks come from it. Because of this, it's not applauded like audio-engineering programs such as Protools or Cubase.
But it's not a audio engineering program, as far as their uses are. It was designed to make music, and no other program compares in that manner.
With FL, I've made tracks that could put a lot of "professional" electronic music to shame. And it's versatile enough for any genre.
It's just like any good real-life instrument. Whether cheap tunes or beautiful melodies, it's only as good as its user. In the case of FL Studio, It will not limit your talent or creativity. Let it flourish! :)
