I ordered the Ovation D-Scale because I have a limited vocal range, and I thought the D-Scale would expand my selections of songs (rather than transposing keys or tuning a standard guitar down to 'D')... read more [+]. I did not have an opportunity to play the guitar before purchasing it, so when I received it, i found the string guage and tension to be greater than any of my other guitars. This isn't a real problem, and I am trying to grow into the strings.
