Deluxe Electric Mistress - The Ultimate Flanger! The electro-harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress' array of critically notched and tuned filters gracefully sweep the sound spectrum, creating shimmering, ethereal passages that are truly out of this world. Exclusive "Filter Matrix" mode disengages the automatic sweep, allowing manual positioning of the filter bank to achieve chime-like metallic tones and other unique effects. Using the Deluxe Electric Mistress The electro-harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress operates in two modes; flanging mode and filter matrix mode. In flanging mode, the flanging effect can be thought of as a pitch slowly sweeping between high and low limits superimposed on the guitar signal. The Rate control of the Deluxe Electric Mistress allows you to change the rate at which the effect occurs. With the Rate control fully counter-clockwise, the effect occurs at the slowest rate. Turning the dial clockwise increases the rate to the point where the frequency of the input signal appears to be shifted in a vibrato-like fashion. The electro-harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress also has a Range control that allows you to set the lower limit of the sweep. Fully counter-clockwise settings, where the lower limit is just below the higher, creates a very narrow sweeping effect. Using the electro-harmonix Deluxe Electric MistressIn Filter Matrix mode disengages the Rate control. The Range control will now manually adjust the filter matrix.
