wanted a keyboard that was light but still had good sounds so i picked the exr5.
manual is a bit hard to understand in places but hands on will soon get you playing lovely sounds .
some features like volume settings tend to be a bit tricky (manual instructions could be better) but all in all a good buy for the money.

I am an intermidiate player and was looking for a nice keyboard. My main decision making point was the build quality and Sound quality.

Did a lot of research and almost decided on E-09 but after seeing this model in a local store, I was blown away with the sound quality. Decided on this model mainly because of the USB connectivity Floppy drive. While many other keyboards offer other media, Floppy is easier for me keep them organized - and a lot cheaper!

The sound is just wonderful. Sax and Flutes sound so real. The built in speakers delivers an excellent sound with a 10W per channel amp behind it.

The keys are also great and some of the tones like the pano flute, the velocity keys just rocks.

I have never tried it with stage amps - but I am sure it will be just awsome.

I could not find a lot of arranger/keyboards in this price range from other vendors - but if you want to stay within a reasonable budget, this will not disappoint you.

Now for the bad thing: Not much but the manual could be more detailed - especially on how to manage user programs.
