The Roland EXR-5s arranger keyboard uses a powerful 64-voice sound engine filled with a variety of sounds sure to satisfy the most demanding player. The 510 onboard tones use high-quality waveforms from Roland's acclaimed sound library to achieve a realism not yet found in this price range. These include beautiful stereo-sampled Piano tones drawn from the legendary RD-Series stage pianos. The EXR-5s sound is further enhanced by a superior speaker system with cutting-edge DSP technology (called Digital Bass Enhancer) for powerful, clean sound.

Piano mode chord recognition and user program storage from EXR-7
The EXR-5s includes features previously only available on more expensive Roland arranger keyboards. The Piano Mode Chord Recognition feature recognizes chords in the full 61-key range, eliminating the need to adapt your playing style to a split keyboard, freeing your left and right hand to play naturally for piano type performance across the EXR-5s keys, with accompaniment. In addition, the EXR-5s provides 100 user program locations for storing favorite settings, including tones, styles and tempo. Any of the 100 user programs can be quickly and easily accessed from the front panel.

The EXR-5s features 164 fresh music styles created by top international musicians for a truly live feel. An innovative cover function allows the player to choose from five presets for instant, real-time style re-orchestration. Imagine creating new arrangements on your EXR-5s with one touch of a button!

Flash Memory
The EXR-5s is well stocked with Flash memory, which can hold up to 4MB worth of your own songs and styles (2.5MB is pre-loaded with bonus styles and songs). Add new songs and styles to keep your EXR-5s up to date with your musical tastes.
With the built-in USB port, you can quickly exchange song and style data between the EXR-5s internal Flash memory and your PC. It's easy - just connect, drag, and drop! The USB connection also gives you the possibility to interface with various computer software programs. Plus, the EXR-5s USB port also provides a convenient MIDI connection between the keyboard and your computer.
