Definitely a Great Buy!

Threw these up against Genelec 8030a monitors that I currently own. The EX66 definitely stood their ground. They lack a little bit of definition in the mid range compared the the genelecs, but still had plenty of detail. They do offer much more clarity and accuracy in the low end and certainly reach lower frequencies than the 8030s. They also translate very well. No fatigue either, that's a definite plus! Thumbs up!

Well I have "tried them all" as they say. Powered to passive and all the speakers and monitors in between.
I purchased these EX66s' with hesitation, as they are costly and quite large for my stands. The moment I powered these up, however, and sent a track from Amie Winehouse (Back to Black) I knew I had something here that stood out from all othe monitors I had owned. Incredible headroom, the lower end of these are tight and smooth as I have ever heard. I will no longer continue my search efforts for that perfect monitor, as they are happily on my stands!

My first time listening to the EX66's in my home recording studio just blew me away. Whether loud or low listening levels, the clarity and detail in the music is amazing. Excellent high's and low's. The BASS response caused me to put my BX10s Sub Woofer in the garage. I could literally hear an 808 Bass through the EX66's without the need of a sub woofer. After listening to music from Michael Jackson to Christina Aguilera I could literally hear the highs and the lows without any fatigue, for hours.
