The Symphonic Choirs collection was designed to blend perfectly with quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra. Massive Quantum Leap Colossus This massive 32GB instrument covers all of the basic musical genres, the way a keyboard workstation attempts to, except Colossus offers much higher quality instruments and dynamics than any keyboard available today! Quantum Leap RA So what's so special about RA compared to other ethnic collections? For a start, every instrument or ensemble was sampled extensively, so the character of the instrument was preserved. Ethnic (or world) music is all about expression, and how the instrument is played. To sample a Turkish wind instrument and not capture the bending, swelling and wavering of the notes is to miss the point completely. On Quantum Leap RA, the producers made a major effort to keep things very organized, consistent, and intuitive, which is necessary with a collection of this size. Every instrument in RA has many articulations and effects that range from very controlled to very expressive. This allows you to actually "play" the instrument with authentic results. The Quantum Leap RA team also came up with some innovative ideas for achieving realistic legato performances, called QLegato. Stormdrum The drum kits and percussion multi-samples in Storm Drum are really amazing! Everything has 10-to-24 level velocity switching with left and right hand samples. The sound is BIG and sometimes ambient when necessary. There are 32 GM drum kits with automatic alternation of left and right hand samples built into each kit (snare, hats and toms). To access the full drum library, you can load all the individual elements and make up their own 88 key kits. No combination of Storm Drum kicks, snares, hats, toms and cymbals ever overlaps. Load one of each, using 5 of the 8 multi-timbral parts and set the 5 programs to the same midi channel. Instant custom 88 key drum kit! The 88 Key drum setups don't utilize automatic alternation of samples, but rather give you direct control. The electronic samples are all derived from the acoustic samples in the library. As a result, they are very original sounding, but also quite familiar. Storm Drum even includes an organic velocity switching tech kit and other goodies like metal shop and prepared piano. Percussive Adventures 2 Delivering 70 full multi-layered pieces, Percussive Adventures 2 gives you full beds, full bed loops, alternate mixes, phrases, endings, individual elements/layers, and some individual hits. You can create organic and electronic drum textures by combining sounds, designing sounds, and choosing between the right percussion feel to define your composition. Bosendorfer 290 Piano The pristine Bosendorfer 290 piano library captures all of the beauty of this piano. Up to 16 velocity layers, true release samples, true re-pedalling and two different microphone positions (close and ambient) for ultimate ambience control. Best of all: the Bosendorfer 290 sounds as good as the real thing! This plug-In version comes with 28 programs, including nine "dry" programs, nine "wet" programs (with and without true real-time re-pedalling), three dry and wet layered programs and several effects variations.
