Our church purchased this mic. Setup was very simple. It has a very healthy amount of gain - no extra noise added from having to turn up the preamp. November 17, 2010 Music Background: Church tech director The one thing to be aware of with this mic is the clip is very cheap - all plastic. In trying to insert the lavalier cable in the clip, the clip broke. Sweetwater is sending a replacement, thankfully. I would recommend the Sennheiser EW112 instead of this.
