Sweetness

I keep coming back to Tak Naturals! I've had two in the past and despite loving their tone, just assumed I could find something in my price range better, so elected to sell them. And I've regretted it both times. So I just picked up the Jumbo ETN20C and it doesn't disappoint at all. Same full, natural sound as the other Nats I've had plus the added "boom" of the Jumbo style. On board electronics are great, including the tuner. The lack of a pickguard is problematic for someone like me because I tend to punish the top pretty severely, but it's for sound reasons, not aesthetics. A pickguard slightly dampens the vibration, hence the sound is affected. I'll take it sans the pickguard and chalk up the markings to my vintage instrument's cool vibe and totally sweet sound.
