EQ3B DESCRIPTION

EQ To Go!
There are a few things that engineers can never have enough of and one of those is high quality equalization. PreSonus takes the sting out of expensive equalization by adding the EQ3B to its line of personal recording products!

PreSonus EQ3B Equalizer at a Glance:
  • Ideal for carving out unwanted frequencies
  • Outstanding quality, with -98dB noise floor

The EQ3B is perfect for carving out unwanted frequencies or musically boosting frequencies that need to be emphasized. It is a perfect compact EQ solution to customize and tailor your sound. The EQ3B features an 80Hz roll-off to eliminate room rumble and increase clarity, plus +/-12 dB of boost/cut on three overlapping frequencies along with variable Q (bandwidth) for detailed narrow notching or wide musical shaping. The EQ3B is ultra-quiet and is a perfect solution for many applications including vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and more.

The EQ3B face plate also hosts a BYPASS button. Other featured specifications include -98dB noise floor, +24 dBu headroom, truly balanced I/O and a wide frequency response. The back of the unit houses balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (1/4" TS) inputs and outputs. The EQ3B is powered by an external wall mounted power supply.

Sweetwater Expert Advice

"Don't be fooled by the price. This little EQ is EXCELLENT. With 3 fully parametric bands, the EQ3B offers far more control than typical built-in EQ's in consoles. Plug it into the insert jack of your mixer to greatly improve your control over critical channels. Every studio and live sound engineer should own a couple of these!"
