Customer Reviewsfrom Chicago December 3, 2011 Music Background: hobby Awesome isn't close enough to drescribe this guitarJust buy this guitar. Don't think, just do it. You'll be happyfrom September 3, 2011 left handed beautyLove this guitar. An affordable version of the Les Paul standard...and a lefty to boot. Plays like a dream and built well. Only downer is that it won't fit in a standard hardshell LP case so ask before you buy one. I purchased a generic soft shell gig bag with an inner shell that works great.from Grand Junction, CO November 18, 2010 Music Background: Radio Station Owner/Musician TOP QUALITY GUITAR!I have owned this guitar for over a year and this is the best Les Paul I have owned. I had a few Gibsons I bought used and was never happy, but this new Epiphone was almost perfect out of the box! Really! All I had to do was raise a pickup. For the price I got this from Sweetwater, they have a customer for life. Plus I am left handed, and Epiphone always seems to make a lefty I like, just bought a G400 SG ... :-)from Grand Junction, CO USA November 16, 2010 Music Background: Musician/Radio Pro GREAT GUITAR!Being left handed already cuts me out of a huge selection of guitars. This guitar is first class. I play out of a Fender Cyber Twin and found the Sidekick model amp to be amazing in tone. This Les Paul screams great tone and ease of play, and for the price I will keep it forever! The paint job is superb, top quality at low price.from Atlanta, GA July 17, 2008 Music Background: Hobbyist Amazing! This guitar is amazing. This guitar looks and sound like a Gibson Les Paul! It is a very beautiful guitar that's even a sunburst, which is my favorite kind! I would even recommend this to a beginner. Great find for the price!from Pennsylvania May 19, 2008 Music Background: Bass- 25+ years! A Young Boy's Dream Came True!My 12 year old son who has been playing for 2 years has always dreamed of this guitar. Playing lefty makes choices at times limited but Epiphone and Sweetwater had the exact guitar he wanted; Heritage Cherry with Flame Top. The guitar came in absolutely perfect condition and buying from the Guitar Gallery allowed me to buy the one that I was actually viewing. The Epiphone finish and sound along with the Sweetwater set-up made this a painless purchase. When you are spending this much on a guitar you want it to be right- Sweetwater and specifically Matt, made it happen.from Webster Ma May 1, 2010 Music Background: Classic rock/Blues Better than expectedVery good guitar for the price it shipped fast ,delivered as described sweetwater is a good company .I recieved a conformation call prior to shipping and chatted with Paul for a bit the service is well parred with no bull.As far as the guitar goes it is a real beauty, very solid...it has great charm to it. with warm tones and ballsy crunch..almost up there with the Les Paul signature sound in identity. Epiphone did a wonderful match with the sound and feel of the Gibson.Running through The Marshall half stack it sounds pretty close to a Gibson Les Paul. There are some Physical and slight tonal differences but very minimal once set up properly there are very little changes, the tone, feel, and performance is well noted minus the 2500 dollar par holein price. If chosen a set of readily available official gibson humbuckers can be installed..Hence creating a more palleble les Paul experience Overall the guitar is excellent it has the looks, feel, sound of Its Gibson counterpart minus the 2500 dollar bite Nothing sounds better than an affordable solution and this is it.from Battle Creek, MI November 23, 2008 Music Background: Hobbyist Fantastic Guitar!Epiphone has done a great job with the Les Paul Standard. For the price I did not expect this much quality. I did a setup and a new set of GHS strings and it plays great. The frets are very nicely done. The grover tuners are wonderful, stays in tune really well. The PUPs do a nice job, tend to be a little "muddy" but I like that sound, so no complaints. Overall great guitar. Well worth the price!from NEW YORK May 17, 2007 Music Background: BEEN PLAYING FOR 33 YEARS THIS IS WORTH EVERY PENNYI'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 33 YEARS AND I CAN'T SEE SPENDING $2500.OO FOR A GIBSON WHEN YOU CAN BUY THIS FOR A QUATER OF THE PRICE. THIS IS A GREAT GUITAR WITH SOME CHANGES. ADD A SET OF GIBSON BURSTBUCKER PROS,AND CHANGE THE POTS AND CAPS. AND YOU HAVE A TRUE LES PAUL THAT WILL STAND UP TO ANY LES PAUL. I PLAYED THIS ONE AGAINST MY FRIENDS GIBSON AND NO ONE COULD TELL THE DIFFRENCE. IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY. THIS IS THE 3RD EPI. I'VE BOUGHT IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS IF THAT'S NOT PRAISE I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.
