I own a sunburst model, and the quality is very good for the price. Before I praise it, here are the not so great aspects. The tuners pretty much suck. They are lightweight and do not stay in place... read more [+] very well. This is an easy fix. The pickups, similarly, stink. They are pretty much bottom of the barrel humbuckers, and while I am not positive, I believe they are not alnico magnets, and therefore lack much warmth or tone. I bought this guitar to rig it up as a solidbody rockabilly guitar ala a gretsch duo jet of something of that ilk. I replaced the pickups with TV Jones classic pickups, and this thing sounds ridiculously good now. The tone of these pickups is amazing, and the guitar produces a killer rockabilly tone. The fit and finish are very good, and the neck is very fast and comfortable, with good fret work. The sunburst is looks nice ,and the finish itself is flawless. If you are willing to fix the minor issues, then you can turn this into a killer guitar for well under five hundred dollars. close [-]
