Perfect for beginners Beginning guitarists will love the slimmer design of the Les Paul 100. It's got a just-right feel when sitting down, and isn't too heavy when played standing. The Les Paul 100 is affordable enough for beginners, but has the tone and feel you'll never want to let go of. Who plays Les Pauls? The list of famous artists that choose Les Pauls is epic: Jimmy Page, Slash, Jerry Garcia, Frank Zappa, Alex Lifeson, Zakk Wylde, and on and on. March 27, 2011 Music Background: Live and Recording Engineer-Pro Musician Great little axe
by Kaler from Mayfield, KY
This guitar has served me very well. It cought my eye in the store where i bought it due to its gorgeous finish and price tag. I plugged this baby into a Marshall, and boy let me tell you. The tone wa... read more [+]s absoloutely unbelievable for a guitar this price. Cleans are amazing, but it can also handle the most extreme distorted, drop-tuned playing styles with ease. The neck is (I think) the 60's slimtaper, and feels just as good as my rhythm player's '07 standard. And as for the bolt on neck, it sustains just as well as a set neck (just don't take it off or the sustain will be ruined).November 27, 2009 Music Background: Gigging musician & Guitar repairman Overall an amazing axe, especially for $300. I recommend it 100% for anyone, be you a beginner with no idea what I've been talking about here, or an active guitarist in three bands like myself. It has lived up perfectly to my high standards, and will to yours too. close [-] Also popular
