This gives a bass player control of the full tonal spectrum from rich growling lows to crisp clean highs and mids that cut right through so you can be heard in the mix. Has the "in your dreams" Jazz Bass sound without the hum and plenty of signal. Active pickups are way less impacted by cheap guitar cords. The classic Jaco fretless bit of bridge pickup with tone rolled back is now possible without a massive 60 cycle buzz. close [-]
