The bottom end and midrange are full and round and where this speaker shines is in the high frequencies. The highs sound practically acoustic and in the airiness of its sound has excellent note articulation, with no harshness. I bought another one and will install them both in my 2x12 Marshall 1936 speaker cab. I'm pretty sure that will sound pretty awesome. As soon as I can I'll run them at high stage volumes and see how they perform. I think they cost too much, but EJ rightly needs to get his royalties. I like having this modern improvement of vintage alnico speakers. I wonder what 4 of them would sound like in a 4x12 cab, but at its high price, am not rushing to buy 2 more! close [-]
