G-400 Classic SG The Gibson SG has been one of the guitar rock'n'rollers mainstays since the beginning of the electric guitar. The Gibson SG is known for it's sustain and great tone. Just ask Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath or Pete Townshend of the Who and the ledgendary Gibson SG Double Neck as played by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin! In the late 50's Gibson introduced the SG Series of solid body guitars. They had a rather thin twin horn body. This two horned body is what gives the SG more access to the higher frets on the fretboard (Could this be why people call guitars there AXE?) It had a somewhat sinister look to it so much so that Angus Young (of AC/DC) had Gibson make one with a lightning bolt. The Epiphone G-400 (SG) is a faithful reproduction of the legendary the 1962 Gibson SG, with a solid mahogany body, slim taper mahogany neck, and separate volume and tone controls for each of the high-output humbuckers. The Epiphone G-400 possesses all the bite, tone and comfort, at a fraction of the cost! Epiphone G-400 (SG) Features:
