40+ years of having fun!

Amazing Takamine 12 String

This guitar is amazing, both in how it plays and how it looks. Far more than I expected. The finish on the guitar is gorgeous and the sound is rich and huge. I have Martin and Gibson acoustics that cost a lot more and this is equal in every way. This is the only 12 string I need.

A Fantastic 12 String

Having been a 12 String player for 40 years, the leap to the Takasime was such a pleasant surprise. It's like nothing I've played before. Changing capo positions and it stays in tune. I would never have believed that from any 12 string guitar. The electronic package is superb. Quality of materials and workmanship makes it a work of art. And, the sound - oh my!

Economical Price/ well above-average sound

I purchased this guitar in gloss black from Sweetwater two years ago. The more I play it, the more I like it; plugged in or not! The electronics are very dependable and the on-board tuner is a big help during performances. For a relatively inexpensive guitar, it stays in tune, even after hard playing. You could buy a more expensive ax that may or may not have a better sound; but why? Put the money you save into a good acoustic amp--sit back, and enjoy the sound!!
