The guitar is a great one, and sounds good acoustically, as well as plugged in. My only beef is that the knobs on the preamp (which do not retract, as many DO) feel VERY cheap, and feel as though they... read more [+] would snap off very easily.October 19, 2011 Music Background: Professional New Country / Country Rock Performing Musician Also, the preamp uses a hearing-aid style battery - that could be a problem, if you're on a gig, and you discover that the battery is dead. Why they didn't design it to use a 9-volt like everyone else is beyond me. The action on this guitar, though, is like a Les Paul. VERY easy to play, and nice for someone like me, who is transitioning from 100% electric guitar to acoustic about 50% of the time. I'll probably replace this preamp with a Fishman, or LR Baggs in the future, then I'll LOVE this guitar. It's well-built, but I was also very disappointed to find out that it is manufactured in China. I guess that explains the cheap electronics. If you don't mind playing a guitar made in China, this one seems like it will perform very well for many years to come. close [-]
