A Bass with Style and Sound to Spare!
Jack Casady, bass player for groundbreaking rock bands Hot Tuna and the Jefferson Airplane, worked closely with Epiphone R&D to create this long scale (34"), semi-acoustic electric bass. The Jack Casady Signature Bass is a stunning instrument that is capable of producing a "natural" bass tone that cannot be achieved using normal high impedance and active pick ups. The Vari Tone knob ranges from low volume/maximum tone to high volume/narrow tone for a real bite. This bass not only delivers notes of amazing clarity, but is also capable of producing incredibly clear, articulate chords. The Jack Casady Signature Bass is a guitar for the bassist who isn't satisfied to plunk or pick away in the background, but wants to explore the sound of his or her instrument to its fullest and most extreme.
