The Third FootI play a synth access guitar and route the pups through a multi FX and into the same keyboard amp I plug my GR-20 into. I play worship at church and use the synth to mostly fill out the sound with pads and such. In order to keep the dynamics in place, I often have to pull the volume back on my RP-1000 and increase the synth volume - impossible to do simultaneously as it literally leaves me without a leg to stand on. My Sales Engineer Mark, hooked me up with this item and it is most definitely the solution. I can use the pan function to blend more or less of each signal together. I don't know how other people would use this, but it is a complete solution for me. Kudos: Built as solid as any pedal I've EVER owned. I know people always say "it's built like a tank" but seriously, put a turret on this and it's ready for deployment. The only minus I give is that in mid pan, you get about half of each signal. That may just be the nature of what it's doing - makes sense. Anyway, shifting a bit toward the input you want to emphasize brings the volume back up. I love it. I can now play alternating "duets" switching from the guitar to a synth patch just by rocking back and forth. |
