Customer Reviewsfrom Crossett, AR, USA September 26, 2011Music Background: amateur musician, entheusiast, songwriter, teacher Another great Ernie Ball product.I threw a set of these on my '68 Kay K-1B just because they were the cheapest one in my local shop and I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend a lot of money on fixing up a bass that might be a lost cause.I have since praised myself for that decision. The Hybrid Slinkys combine the high end of the Super Slinkys with the low end of Regular Slinkys to produce a range that will allow you to play everything from the blackest of metal to the lightest of funk. I'll be keeping a set of these on hand. Tonal Range: 10/10 Life Span: 9/10 Playability: 10/10 Price: 9/10 Overall: 9/10 from Richmond,Va USA December 13, 2012Music Background: Pro Musician Great StringsErnie Ball strings have been my choice for stings for over 20 years. I have played strings that sounded better but I have never found another brand that is as consistant and such a good value as Ernie Ball. They sound great fresh and when they start to fade I can adjust my attack and still make them sound good. They do not get all chalky, scratchy and tinny sounding as they wear out. I put regular Sinky's on all of my electric guitars and basses and I am confident in my strings on whichever guitar I am playing.
