We're referring, of course, to the KRK Expose E8B's cabinet. Basic acoustical theory tells us that parallel surfaces are ideal for the propagation of standing waves (which we know are bad). Why, then, do most speakers have a boxy form factor? KRK angles the E8B's interior walls to eliminate standing waves, and even designs the exterior with attractive curves that provide natural diffraction and a larger sweet spot.
