affordable ssl

Recently I have been working with waves plugins in logic and they are great (thats another review for another time), but they can absorb a lot of processor power. This especially happens when I try to... read more [+] add other processor hogs like akoustic piano from Native-Instruments+Ik multimedia's Philarmonk throw in reasons running in the background with every channel almost rewired to throw a processor plug on it and bam my computer starts screaming at me.

And then enters my savior the Duende mini taking away all the headaches of the plugin processing. Now lets get to the reason your probably reading this.

Positives
16 channels of processing expandable to 32 via upgrade which only cost $399 lets do the math 399+795.97=$1,194.97 which is cheaper than the duende at $1,565.97 so if your keeping up the mini does the same processing as its bigger brother for less cash (thats our little secret sshhh).

The SSL sound and you don't have to take out a second or third or for some of us a fourth mortgage on your home.

THis thing is a beautiful piece of equipment it works right out of the box(at least for me it did) there is no huge learning curve, and the plugins sound beautiful. So if you ever wanted to get that ssl sound now you can. start with the 16 channels and if that works for you then upgrade. And when you really want that ssl board do the following:

Buy two duendes fully upgrade them with the following plugins
