Got this to view the iPad on the big screen while still attaching some other things to the dock connector.

Works well for viewing HD content, but not so well if you are using music apps... read more [+]. Some music apps would crackle and pop while this connector is used. It might have to do with the audio/video routing via HDMI to the TV.

For videos and such it is great, for music, not so. close [-]
