The DF-7 Distortion Factory pedal gets its power from DigiTech's exclusive GENETX technology. GENETX transcends guitar amp modeling by allowing you to create your own custom amp models, a term DigiTech calls "Hyper-Modeling." GENETX gives you unprecedented control over instrument tone and sonic content through an intuitive user interface. With a simple turn of the warp knob the DF-7 can create a virtually infinite array of tones and textures.

AudioDNA chip for fast processing
Another piece of technology in the Distortion Factory pedal is AudioDNA, DigiTech's sixth-generation audio signal processing chip. The AudioDNA chip uses the latest advancements in integrated circuit technologies to give musicians unprecedented signal processing capabilities. The DSP power of the AudioDNA chip accelerates the modeling and effects processing functions in the Distortion Factory and other DigiTech pedals.

Clear, easy-to-use interface
Despite the advanced technology behind it, the DF-7 Distortion Factory is remarkably easy to operate. Separate Level, Bass, Mid-Frequency, Mid-Range, Gain and Treble knobs on the box face give you precision control over your settings. And DigiTech's signature pedal switch ensures a solid "on" and "off" experience.

Rugged, road-ready and good looking, too!
The Distortion Factory will stand up to heavy gigging and road use. Its rugged cast metal chassis resists dents and dings while protecting the internal circuits. The non-skid rubber base on the DF-7 keeps the pedal where you want it on the floor. And the unique carbon-fiber look is as distinctive as the pedal itself! The DF-7 has two different outputs - one to your amp for live use plus a second CIT compensated out for recording or connecting to a PA.
