The best...

Digital Performer 7 was the best purchase i could have made to add to my recording setup. I upgraded from DP4.5... all of my projects from my previous session opened perfectly and retained all effects, automation's, and mix's. Ive used many recording software packages: ProTools, Ableton, Logic, Sonar - but i chose Digital Performer over them because i feel the features in this program and just better than the rest. Its awesome software. Its easy to setup. its easy to use and its a fun experience overall making music with it. Perfect for electronic music production (MIDI, CV) which i use a lot.

My opinion it's better then pro tools

I always been a fan of motu. I like to audio engine and the user friendly interface. The beat detection engine save me time finding beats tempo in no time. It's fun to play with; and the list goes on and on.

Great Software!

There are a lot of options out there for DAW recording software these days and I have tried them all. I make my living with recording and music production and Motu DP is my choice to get the job done day in and day out.

There is obviously plenty of good software out there and they all are pretty great at this point. But there's is just something about the overall workflow and feature set in DP that excels in a high-quality, high-intensity environment. It just gets out of my way and lets me get my work done with a minimal amount of fuss. I haven't found another DAW that does that for me.
