Excellent value and versatility

This amp offers up a really broad palette of mostly solid, and some great, tones. From crystal clean to blues grind I think the tones are very happening. You can also get to all out metal tones, but that's not my bag. Tremolo is nice to have and the fatboost adds a nice bit of midrange snarl. The reverb is ok, but not great. The 15" speaker puts out lots of nice bottom end and tames the highs. It's a solid state recitifier, so it doesn't have the sponginess I generally prefer, but it's still pretty dynamic to touch. I've used this for gigs, practice, and recording and it's always come through for me. I have several nice boutique amps, but will always keep this amp as a solid back up or will use it as my main amp from time to time. Excellent value in tube tone.
