Customer Reviewsfrom California April 20, 2010 Music Background: church sound guy- and ham operator Not only great for music....!This is THE sound card for the ham radio equivalent of audiophile technogeeks who like to go way into the digital side of things. Some of the newest radio technologies harness the powerful digital signal processing of these card to render some extremely impressive performance from their "software defined radios"- which are little more than a minimal radio bolted up to a really nice sound card plus some really cool software. When one considers just what is asked of these cards and how well they accomplish this demanding task of filtering out unwanted radio noises & such while adjusting bandwidth & otherwise heavily processing it is most impressive. Even to the point of communicating below the threshold of the noise floor! Seeing the unseeable and hearing the unhearable- and it still works!from Altoona, PA February 26, 2008 Music Background: 25 years of guitar and production Awsome productIt is great. I love this card. My recordings are clearer and sound great. I'm using Sonar producer with it and it just rocks. So if you want to build a nice home studio I say M-Audio.from Chicago IL March 4, 2007 Music Background: Recording Hobbyist, guitarist, performer Solid Product with good driversI use this with Sonar 4/5 and it is solid. Haven't even used the built in no latency mixer, though it seems like a cool feature. I have an EMU 0404 as well and that is happy to make sonar crash when you change sampling rates. Not so with the Delta, it doesn't get buggy. Good software control panel includes phase reversal on all channels and -10, cons, and +4 capabilility for each input.from Bronx, New York January 28, 2007 Music Background: Recording Engineer/Music Producer A great sound cardI have this card in sync with the pci audiophile 2496 for a total of 6 analog inputs and 6 analog output. You could have this card n sync with a 10/10 for a total of 12 analog inputs and 12 analog outputs. For the budget it gives me a chance to work with allot of external gear. Other people may tell you that products from Motu, RME or Echo has better converter but I learned to master recording without relying on names brands.

April 12, 2006 Solid card for the moneyI have used M-Audio products for years and no problems. Their drivers are solid and work real well with Cubase (VST/SX). I've owned the Delta 10/10 but got rid of it for a MOTU. Biggest mistake ever! If you're starting off in recording, start with this card. Don't forget you can add more than one if you need more inputs. |
