Inflict Some Damage

Heavyocity Damage is a scrumptious hellride of industrial sounds fused with orchestral percussion and edgy electronics. Brimming with a stunning array of loops and percussive kits, this superbly cinematic library will be the sonic arsenal you reach for whenever you want to weave a threatening, truly terrifying soundscape. Whether you're a composer or sound designer, you'll find Damage's devastating hits and sinister pads perfect for creating intense widescreen tension and jaw-dropping impact. Next spine-chilling drama you work on, keep the audience on the edge of their seats with Heavyocity Damage.

Heavyocity Damage at a Glance:
  • Devastating impact
  • Pristine sonic carnage
  • Intuitive interface

Devastating impact
Heavyocity Damage is all about intense. The sound chasers at Heavyocity sampled everything from orchestral percussion, to amazing-sounding snares and toms, to an potpourri of metal and wooden gizmos. Next, they went for the gusto, with exploding cars, cranes, a dumpster, and other rather large objects dropped from impressive heights. You get the idea.

Pristine sonic carnage
Heavyocity Damage is definitively hifi. Over 26,500 samples were recorded at 24-bit/96kHz and painstakingly downsampled to 24-bit/44.1kHz using high-end equipment, including Neve and SSL large format boards; API, Neve, Avalon, and Wunder mic pres/EQs; and Neumann, AKG, Sennheiser, Mojave, and Lawson mics. Percussive kits give you more than 200 deeply-sampled perc sources and over 500 single-shots, recorded in up to seven velocity layers, with up to nine round-robins per hit.

Intuitive interface
Heavyocity Damage features a user interface with just the right balance between functionality, playability, and attitude. Damage integrates slickly with your DAW, giving you a smooth workflow to juice your creativity. Tempo sync is automatic, and you can export a loop's MIDI data to your sequencer with a simple drag-and-drop. You get integrated keyswitches for playing effects and remixing loops on the fly. When it's time to load on the pressure, give the prominent "Punish" knob a clockwise twist.

Heavyocity Damage. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the studio.

Heavyocity Damage Features:
  • Powered by the Kontakt engine
  • 16GB (30GB uncompressed)
  • Rhythmic Suites include 16 Loop Menus, 849 Single Loops
  • Perc Kits include 13 Epic Organic Drums, 10 Ethnic Drums, 13 Metals, 9 Hybrid FX, 13 Damage Kits

Well i think that Heavocity had already made a solid reputation with their products like Evolve mutation but what they've made with Damage raise the bar for competition.

The amount of c... read more [+]ontrol that you get with the drum position is really useful .Combine it with their nice powerful effects (distortion,LoFi,delay,reverb,comp..) This thing is a monster with endless possibilities !

The interface is wisely built ,smooth ,user friendly and efficient !

If you are looking for cinematic percussion, industrial ambience, don't look anywhere else ,it worth every penny !

This Thing Really Did Melt My Face Off

I've been looking for a drum plugin that is epic, brutal, and unforgiving, so when I saw this I knew I had to have it. If you've heard a film or video game score with epic drums, this thing can produc... read more [+]e the same results. It's also a great plugin for heavy industrial music. The libraries sound intense and complex, but the interface is simple and to the point (not to mention well designed), making it easy to navigate through and tweak to your liking.

The thing that sold me on this the most was watching the behind the scenes video. I not only like seeing how these sounds are made, but ho makes them. I'll be supporting Heavyocity in the future because of that.

I am a newbie to the Kontakt player and this has certainly been a great introduction. I would completely recommend this to any one looking to go into film, video games, or just wanting to make music that wreaks havoc. close [-]

This is a decent library of loop based material that will hit you hard with it's industrial distortion, if that's what you're looking for. All in all it's quite limited in scope with everything soundi... read more [+]ng like a crowbar hitting a metal door. If you looking for a well-rounded cinematic percussive library, this is not it, but if you're looking for niched loop library of warehouse sounds then you might be happy. Overrated in my book. for 299 you can get a whole lot more out of other libraries. close [-]
