A product I've used off and on for years, I finally decided to replace my old cans with these. I purchased them specifically for the tight grip and isolation, as I'm primarily a live sound engineer t... read more [+]hese days, and wanted something with higher fidelity than what's typically found laying around at clubs, or thrown into a work case. November 18, 2011 Music Background: Live sound engineer, sytem tech, production I'm extraordinarily happy with the product's sound and build quality... I don't have to be afraid of them getting knocked around on the gig. The ability to detach the cable (from the headset), or screw it on permanently is nice, as well as the screw off 1/4'-1/8 adapter. It's also nice to have the lower impedance, as I often found myself needing to crank the monitor pot way too high on my old cans... from a low budget to high end board, they seem to always have headroom to spare. My only real con with this product is the curly cable, it always seems to get caught up on stuff. close [-] Solid Headphones

I have owned my DT-250's for almost 2 years now. I can tell you that these headphones are flat eq wise but come with a drawback of the old "SKULL CRUNCH" when wearing them for extended periods. Also be aware of verbs and effects that are much more predominant in headphones than when using them in a treated room. Overall I would give these headphones a 9 on a scale of 10 for functionallity. The only drawback is their sqeeze on your head.November 1, 2005 Music Background: Happy Mixing, David close [-] Also popular
