A Dream Come True ...

First let me say that my sales representative, Danielle was knowledgeable and caring throughout this entire transaction (and laughed at my bad jokes). The guitar arrived via FedEx in record time. My V was in great shape when I opened the box, and the second box, which was for a strap and a Dunlop locking system, had in it, of all things, CANDY!! I was blown the heck away! It was like your car salesperson putting bottle of bubbly in your new car! Sweetwater ROCKS!

The guitar came with a set of 9s on it, and the setup wasn't so hot. This could have been from shipping, and temperature changes. After checking out the electronics, and noodling around a bit, I changed to a set of D'Addario 10s, waited for the neck to respond, and did a complete setup (I like the action a tad higher than factory spec, and the neck a little less straight on my Gibsons), and it plays great now.

I was very surprised by how light the guitar is. This is good for me as my #1 and #2 guitars are SGs which I got because I needed to start playing lighter guitars due to a back problem (really, I'm too freaking old to stand up with a Les Paul around my neck for hours).
